Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Divinity Consulting cc (“we”, “us”), Johannesburg, South Africa, handles when you visit divinityconsulting.com, contact us, or interact with our brands and advertising. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. Who we are
Divinity Consulting cc is a South African technology consultancy that also publishes its own media and books. You can reach us at contact@divinityconsulting.com for any privacy question or request.
2. This website
The website is a static site. It does not use cookies, advertising or analytics trackers, social-media widgets or third-party scripts, and it has no forms or user accounts. Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services, CloudFront and S3) may keep standard technical access logs, such as IP address, time, requested page and browser type, for security and reliability. We use these logs only to operate and protect the site.
3. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to respond to you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell it, rent it or add you to a mailing list without asking.
4. Advertising and platform data
We advertise our own books and media brands. We use the reporting interfaces of advertising platforms, such as the Google Ads API and the Amazon Ads API, to read performance figures (for example spend, impressions, views, clicks and orders) for our own advertising accounts only. This is aggregate performance data. We do not use these interfaces to collect personal information about the people who see our ads, and we do not build profiles of individuals. See also Advertising data & API use.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who host or deliver our services (such as AWS for hosting and Forward Email, which relays email sent to our address to our own mailbox), when required by law, or to protect our rights. Information about our own advertising performance is not shared with third parties.
6. Retention and security
We keep emails for as long as needed to deal with your request and our legitimate business records. Data is stored in access-controlled cloud accounts and transmitted over encrypted connections.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under South Africa’s POPIA or the EU/UK GDPR) you may ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to its use. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our children’s coloring book is sold to adults through Amazon.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
